A born-again Christian since 7, but only obedient to Christ in the last 18 or so years. I worked 20 years for the State of California before giving up my full-time career to homeschool my teenage son and to get away from the things at work that caused chronic migraines about 3 times per month. I'm currently back to work part-time to help pay bills, but I'm praying that's only temporary. I am working on two novels and hopefully I will get some articles and short stories published by real magazines in the meantime. My husband, Jim, my son, Jared and I are owned by two cats; our ginger "tank" named Jobie, and his "baby sister", a very agile brown tabby named Judah. I love communicating with people, and I feel I do this best through my writing.
My son is now starting to get his feet wet in writing. His first piece (hopefully not his only one) has been published on a page one of his friends created in tribute to the victims of the terrorist group that destroyed the Twin Towers. You can read his article, God Bless the USA at In dedication to the lives lost in NYC and Washington, D.C. on September 11, 2001 You'll have to scroll a bit to find it, but you may also enjoy what some of the other youngsters have published there, too.
