I feel that I am one of the most fortunate humans on earth. I’m a Christian and I’ve had many prayers answered, so I know God loves me. He allows me to have good health. He allowed me to return home safely after both tours in Vietnam, He introduced me to the most wonderful lady in the world and she is my best friend... my lover…and also my wife for forty years.
I was born in Nashville and finished high school in Amarillo. After three years in the Army I returned to Amarillo and attended West Texas State.
In 82 I retired from the military after serving 28 years. I presently reside in Germany with my wife and two children. My service in the military and my extensive world traveling has convinced me that the most important objective any human, Christian or otherwise, can have in his or her life time is to help every other human on earth achieve a decent quality of life.
Quoting scriptures and personally living a Christian life in its self just isn’t enough. We must utilize these gifts and achieve results through action.
No child in any corner of the earth should ever go to bed hungry, but many do.
Antiquated Christian doctrine encourages many if not most of the social problems on earth. World over--population is absolutely the number one problem on earth. Effective sex education for children and teens and easily available birth control for every human on earth is the only acceptable solution.
God our Creator gave humans a very special brain, but I’m sure He isn’t satisfied with the way many of us use it. He must be very angry when He sees so much suffering on His beautiful earth.
For six years I was a senior director of the largest Alcohol and Drug Abuse and Control Program that existed in the early seventies. This was the U.S. Army's rehabilitation program in Germany during a difficult period when far too many military members, especially younger soldiers, suffered from drug abuse and associated family problems.
I developed much of my philosophy as I rubbed shoulders with many of our 250 employees, several of which had doctorates and many years of experience in areas of rehabilitation...and as we all agonized over thousands of individuals whose lives were tarnished or ruined through social stupidity.
I have gained valuable knowledge since becoming a member of Faith Writers and I hope that my contributions will benefit others.
