I now live in Houston ,Texas but must admit to remaining a New Yorker at heart.
I teach Sundau School for adults at a wonderful Church in The Woodlands and also lead a samll group on Sunday evening.
Writing has always been my first joy, but getting "caught-up" in the corporate world did not allow me to pursue that love. Now, I have decided to leave that world and do things that maybe more meaningful. I would like to find work with a Church, non-profit organization or Chritian school.
Anyway, in doing this I hope to have more time to study and to write; thus my new membership on this site.
I've always been somewhat rebellious in life, and have paid the price, but no real regrets. God has shown great mercy I think I've grown a lot. (I never want to totally "grow-up".... to much fun being a "kid at heart".
Being Italian, family is a big deal to me and it bother me that we are so spread out, but then again, there is someting to say for the old addage about absence and the heart, etc.
When I was a kid in NY, the members of the family who lived "far away" were those living in Brooklyn. Now, we're spread out literally from coast to coast!
I enjoy being alive and I love life, even though I have a hard time understanding the suffering and pain that exists in this world. I know God has it under control, but He has chosen not to reveal His master plan to me.That's the hard part about faith.
