I am an American, who grew up in Austria, Turkey and Germany as a daughter of missionaries. I've traveled extensively throughout Europe in the 70s and 80s, attended high school in Wheaton, Illinois, and in the 1994 I went to Islamabad, Pakistan as a short-term missionary.
Currently, I have been married to my wonderful husband, Ryan (a police officer)for 10 years and have 2 children, Mackenzie (7) and Carter (1). I teach middle school Spanish, German and Reading Comprehension to 8th, 7th and 6th graders, respectively. Living in Indiana has helped me to finally get to know who I am, and process my childhood. I have written in journals for years, but now am taking the plunge to go "public". I am currently planning to write a memoir about my experience in Pakistan.
