Pastor John McWilliams and his wife Barbara have lived in Naples, Florida since 1998. They are both graduates of Rowan University in N. J. with degrees in teaching. John is also a graduate of Princeton Seminary with an M. Div. degree with a concentration in preaching. Barb is the Art teacher at Naples Christian Academy. Pastor John and Barb ministered as pastor and wife in two Churches in The Northeast for a total of 21 years before moving to Naples. They were in New Hampshire and New York out on Long Island.
They are now in mission work full time with Campus Crusade: Russia. Campus Crusade: Russia, encompasses a number of ministries in Russia such as our New Life Bible College in Moscow where we are training the future pastors and Christian leaders of Russia along with many of the countries of the former Soviet Union. Athletes in Action, a vibrant ministry of reaching people through sports is also one of the ministries we have in Russia. We also reach out to the youth of Russia through High School ministries.
John is also responsible for working with Churches and pastors in The United States, to interest them in the ministry of Russia and encouraging the pastors to become short term visiting faculty at our New Life Bible College in Moscow.
Pastor John travels to Russia and also to Latin America to teach and train pastors and Christian leaders, as well as teaching at times for other mission organizations overseas. His overseas teaching experience includes multiple trips to Russia and Costa Rica, as well as trips teaching in Mexico, Nicaragua and Panama.
He also regularly travels and teaches throughout The United States, leading renewal weekends and retreats. He also regularly teaches and preaches in different Churches in Naples and the Southwest Florida area.
Pastor John and Barbara have three grown children, Bryan, Andy and Emily.
