Many of my poems are about grief and survivng the loss of a loved one. Several were written many years ago after the loss of our first child. I thank God, poetry was my coping tool at that time. I hope that they offer hope to anyone who may be struggling. Some of the poems you see were written for others by request. Usually, I write the words He has laid heavy on my heart. May the words that He has given me, touch you, comfort you and offer you a bit of hope for whatever you may be going through.
