FAITHWRITERS 500 MEMBERS SAY:
WORTH SO MUCH MORE THAN THE MEMBERSHIP DUES

I found Faithwriters when I did an internet search for Christian writing contests. I found the Writing Challenge and entered that day. I was so excited to learn the contest was free. I soon found the boards and continued to enter the Writing Challenge.
When I look back, I am so thankful I was led to FaithWriters on that day. It truly changed my life. I had always liked the idea of being a writer, but had no idea if I could write, or even how to begin. Through the Challenges and my wonderful friends on the boards, I now have clear plans and goals. I continue to be encouraged daily by the other members of FaithWriters.
Naturally, as I began to feel like FaithWriters was a second home, I wanted to contribute and support this wonderful website. However, I held back because my husband was still skeptical. I decided I would join when I was ready to enter the Page Turner Contest. Then, to my surprise, someone sponsored me! I was thrilled, but also felt guilty.
Very soon after my sponsored membership started, I was the featured artist on the opening page. This was very exciting because I was able to spotlight an article I wrote about the "choking game," a teen activity that had robbed my town of two Christian teenagers. It was awesome that more people got to be warned of this dangerous "game."
Not long after that article was showcased, Deb (Porter) used one of my Challenge articles for the FaithWriters magazine. Plus, I had numerous stories that would be published in the FaithWriters Anthologies. For me, this alone is well worth the membership dues!
I finally realized I had benefited so much from FaithWriters 500, I could not allow someone else to pay for my membership. I signed up myself and thanked my sponsor for her kindness. I feel the benefits I get from FaithWriters are worth far more than the $10 a month. Even if I never used any of the services or perks from the 500 membership, I would still want to financially support this organization that has changed my life. I can't imagine life without FaithWriters.
