20 Chapters 114 Pages
INTRODUCTION:
As we navigate through the obstacles that life brings to us, we are greatly impacted by the numerous voices that we encounter along the way.
The human mind operates much like a computer that continually receives information and data from the peripheral environment. Although the speed in which a computer can process and analyze information is superior to Man, the accuracy of the its output is still dependent on the accuracy of the data that it received and the functional capabilities of its programming to process it.
We are told that even in our sleep, the mind continues to processes information. We are told that many of the decisions that we make take place in the subconscious mind and do not require any conscious involvement at all. Little do many of us realize, many of the conscious decisions we make are also greatly impacted by the information that we have stored in our subconscious minds.
Anyone who is involved in training of military, police, fire, or rescue personnel can tell you the importance of repetition in the training and development process. When faced with a shocking encounter, a person will respond is the manner in which he/she was trained, many times without even consciously thinking about it.
