TITLE: Sparrow Shall Fall

This right here is a heavy metal tune. The verses start out very slow and beautiful, but it's the choruses that pick up the tempo. Getting the beat on the ending is important, even though it simply looks repetitive. I wanted it to have a climax effect like "this is the part of the musc video where the sparrow gets injured and starts having trouble flying." And then, I wanted to make the last couple lines drawn-out, like "This is where the sparrow finally falls and dies." Let me know if this song accomplishes what I hoped it would, or if it's just repetitive and annoying at the end.
She said “They say it’s always darkest right before the dawn.”
“Yet truly, I don’t believe my life has a dawn,” she went on…
“For as I pray to God to guide me, I know that He won’t save me.”
“Like every other time, He’ll just… let me be…”

And my heart went out to Lainey.
‘Cause I’ve been where she was.
And I felt my life was over.
But now I disagree because…

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny?”
Yet not one bird will fall to the ground
Apart from the will of your Father.”
(This is truth, everyone! Gather ‘round!)
“And even the very hairs of your head
Are all numbered, so don’t be afraid
You are worth more than many sparrows.”
This is what our Savior said!

In all these things… place your trust.
His overwhelming patience… sometimes confuses us.
But He alone knows the year and the day and the hour of your death.
So when you’re feeling lost, thank God! Have faith you’ve got time left!

(He’s just…)
TESTING you, Lainey! I see He’s BREAKING YOU DOWN!
The LAST time this happened to me, I was WAY TOO PROUD!
Thinking I could save mySELF with a little HELP FROM ABOVE!
But He wants to be your HERO! Lainey, SURRENDER to His love!

He said “There’s so much that goes on in this world… That I don’t understand.
My goal in life is just to coexist… and maybe… when I’m an old man…
It would be nice to see how everything fits… to finally understand.
And to know for once if there really is… a God who created man.”

And my heart went out to Jason.
“Cause I’ve been where he was.
And I felt my life was pointless
Now I disagree because…

“Whoever acknowledges Me before men
I will also acknowledge him
Before my beloved Father in heaven.”
(Whether or not you have sinned.)
“But whoever disowns me before his brothers
I will disown him too.”
I’m your HERO, Son. I’m not your “helper.”
Just surrender and you’ll pull through!

In all these things… place your trust.
His overwhelming patience… sometimes confuses us.
But He alone knows the year and the day and the hour of your death.
So when you’re feeling lost, thank God! Have faith you’ve got time left!

(He’s just…)
TESTING you, Jason! I see He’s BREAKING YOU DOWN!
The LAST time this happened to me, I was WAY TOO PROUD!
Thinking I could rule myself with my own personal set of laws!
Back when I still thought my heart was good… instead of FATALLY FLAWED!

In all these things… place your trust.
His overwhelming patience… sometimes confuses us.
But He alone knows the year and the day and the hour of your death.
So when you’re feeling lost, thank God! Have faith you’ve got time left!

(Time… e… nough… to…)
GIVE HIM YOUR SOUL!
SPARROW SHALL FALL!
FATHER HAS GOT ENOUGH LOVE FOR US ALL!
SWALLOW HIM WHOLE!
SPARROW SHALL FALL!
ONE DAY YOUR SAVOIR WILL RIDE ON YOUR SOUL!
GIVE HIM YOUR SOUL!
SPARROW SHALL FALL!
FATHER HAS GOT ENOUGH LOVE FOR US ALL!
SWALLOW HIM WHOLE!
SPARROW SHALL FALL!
ONE DAY OUR SAVOIR WILL RIDE ON US ALL!

In all these things… place your trust.
His overwhelming patience… sometimes confuses us.
But He alone knows the year and the day and the hour of your death.
So when you’re feeling lost, thank God! Have faith you’ve got time left!

ONE DAY YOUR SAVOIR WILL RIDE ON YOUR SOUL!
GIVE HIM YOUR SOUL!
SPARROW SHALL FALL!
FATHER HAS GOT ENOUGH LOVE FOR US ALL!
GIVE HIM YOUR SOUL!
SWALLOW HIM WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLE!
‘CAUSE ONE DAY… YOOOOOUR SPARROW… SHALL FALLLL...
