Whenever I see the sunís rays
Peeking through the clouds,
It fills my heart with gladness
And makes me want to laugh out loud.
In the heat of the Summer,
When nothingís stirring in the air.
Lying under the shade of an old Oak tree,
I enjoy the stillness there.
Taking a walk through the quiet woods,
On a crisp, clear Autumn day.
Feeling the leaves crunch beneath my feet
Makes me want to kneel and pray.
Then Winter rears itís ugly head
And all the trees are bare.
Looking out the window at the sky,
Makes my mind wander up there.
When the buds of Spring start blooming
All things becoming new again.
We should stop and smell the roses.
And embrace the peace
That only comes from Him.
