TRUST JESUS TODAY
This is a poem that I wrote quite a few years ago, but have changed it almost beyond recognition. Do I get the message accross?
My debt of sin was paid in full,
When Jesus rose from the dark grave.
Bearing sin on the rugged cross,
My soul He has risen to save!
Yes, the price of my sinful life,
I could never, ever, repay.
Only by His great sacrifice,
Iím cleansed and forgiven today!
Yes, the deep, dark grave is empty;
What a gift of His extreme love!
Someday, Iíll join Him in Heaven,
Thanking Him, for marvelous love!
Oh the joy that breaks forth in song,
As I think of that special day,
When I gave my sad life to Him,
And He lifted my sins away!
My friend, He also died for you,
Bearing your sins on that cruel cross.
Submit to Him, and be redeemed.
Donít allow your soul to be lost.
Salvation has been completed.
The decision is up to you.
Heaven or hell, is your own choice
Dear friend, tell me what you will do!
