It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:
1) Post your first piece.
2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.
3) For each critique you give, you earn 1 credit that can be used to post another one of your writings.
4) You can build up credits to be used at another time by giving critiques to others.

This was a writing challege on board the Golden Princess Cruise to Hawaii. Only 6 people did the challenge. Our poems were read, and each one(not allowed to vote for your own, of course) voted for the best, and each piece received one vote. This was the first time this had ever happened, and we all received a reward. I had only 4 lines written in the 15 minute time as a lady sat beside me, asking how I was goint to ever use the 6 words we had to use. How did I come up with that? "I could never think of that" Have you ever tried to write poetry before? etc. etc. Not a quiet moment, so I was shocked to even place! Dear soul was so happy that I had gotten a vote too! :)
While in transit down a shady road,
The trees were whispering in the wind,
Crickets chirping in the misty marsh;
Filled our hearts with deep peace within.
This was only the beginning of
Our enjoyment of Godís creation;
Bringing memories of times gone by,
Viewing the beauty of our nation.
With joy springing up within our hearts,
Bowing our heads, we gave God our praise;
Thanking Him, for sharing this great world,
Brightening so many of our days!
After this moment of sweet reprise,
Weíll face another day of Godís grace;
Enriched by His promise and presence,
Even more, when we shall see His face!
