HELP TOUR

It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:

1) Post your first piece.

2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.

3) For each critique you give, you earn 1 credit that can be used to post another one of your writings.

4) You can build up credits to be used at another time by giving critiques to others.

TITLE: Before I Go

A slow-paced rock song about what I want to accomplish before I die. Hope this idea wasn't already taken! (probably) Funny how I usually don't write many slow songs.
1. It seems like it was just yesterday that I was still a teen
A shy kid in high school with big struggles and dreams
And before I knew it, in just a few blinks, I'm where I am today
Which makes me think that it won't be long before my life is over

2. So what can I do... while there's still life inside me?
What can I do... while the candle is still burning?
What can I be... before the vapor is blown away?
What can I be... before the sun sinks under the horizon?

Before I go I wanna make a difference
Before I go I wanna change the world
Before it's over I've gotta do my best in everything
Before I go there's so much to be done.

3. Thoughts come to me of what I would like to do
I want to travel, be an actor, a dancer, maybe a pianist
I want to write books that will make people think
I want to spread truth and love to everyone

4.I want to make new friends and have more time with old
Make you smile and help you however I can
I wanna pray for you and encourage you when you're suffering
We need each other and we need God more than fish need water

Before I go I wanna make an impact
Before I go I wanna share the Good News
Before it's over I want to change lives
Before I go there's so much to be done

5. I'm a citizen of two worlds and it's hard to choose between them
I yearn to come home and see my Father, Savior, and all the saints
But I want to get some work done while the harvest is ready
I want my rest in eternity to be more than worth it

6. Lord, please help me to stay close to you
Not my own will but yours be done
You made me for a mission and gave me my talents
Help me trust and obey You, and remember your love and wisdom

*volume rises*
Before I go I wanna make leave a mark
Before I go I wanna add love to this dark world
Before it's over I wanna change history
Before I go there's so much to be done

Before I go... oh oh oh oh
Before I go... oh oh oh OH
Before I go... oh oh oh
Before I go... ohhhhhhhhh

Before the sand in the hourglass runs out
Before the statues and pillars crumble away
Before my heart stops beating and my lungs stop working
Before I'm lying on my death bed saying goodbye

Before... before... before I fade away
Before... before... before my final day
Lord lead me in the right direction while I still have time
And after that I'll hope to hear you say... "Welcome home, my good and faithful servant."
