A poem about the rainbow and how it illustrates God's goodness and glory
The dazzling colors across the sky
After a dreary stormy night,
Lift my heart to heaven fly
Praising God to my soul's delight.
O blessed Savior, O so lovely
Vivid colors of sincere promises,
Like soothing lullabies rhythmically
Swaying with the Father's truthfulness.
Precious RED blood washes sins away,
Sweet ORANGE light shines in faith,
Warm YELLOW joy lightens the burden,
Fresh GREEN hope strengthens the mind,
Gentle BLUE spirit teaches divine peace,
Cool INDIGO touch soothes the pain,
Tender VIOLET words reveal the gospel.
Magnificent rainbow sparkling with God's glory,
Narrates the infinite wisdom of the Lord,
His eternal love to the world He bestows,
So His children may live in His kingdom forever.
