It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:

1) Post your first piece.

2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.

3) For each critique you give, you earn 1 credit that can be used to post another one of your writings.

4) You can build up credits to be used at another time by giving critiques to others.

TITLE: Footprints on my Heart II

I'm still struggling with proper form and still getting my point accross. I felt that I lost a lot of expression, trying to get this in a better form. How does it sound to you?
Through all the days of childhood,
The bruises, hurt feelings, and such!
The way that I was brought up,
Has affected me very much!
Leaving footprints on my heart!

Fully grown, making choices,
Married, and started our home,
Two beautiful children to love,
An accident left us alone.
And, left footprints on my heart.

Yes, joys and even sorrows
All play a very special part
In the way one feels, and loves,
And in the content of one’s heart.
Because of those footprints on the heart!

Life would be a wearisome path,
If we trudged this pathway alone;
But God sent His Son to save us,
And for our sins to atone!
Love left footprints on my heart!

Things can become new in our life,
As we give up the earthly din.
The wearisome road becomes joyful,
When we give our hearts to Him.
Precious footprints on the heart!
