Still trying to work on rythm. I redid this one that I wrote when my sister passed away
Now she is a rose, in the hand of God,
Her work on earth is done!
She’s traveled the path, and kept the course,
Her earthly battles are won.
No more heartache, and living for others;
Her path, now paved with gold!
Reunited with those she led, and loved,
Her Savior, she beholds!
All of her prayers aren’t answered, as yet,
Her vial of tears, God holds.
The worth of those prayers will only appear,
When others lives unfold.
There is no way we could wish her back,
Or fill our empty heart,
But we can do our best, to carry on;
Before our time to depart!
So, pick up the cross, and bravely walk on,
There’s still so much to do!
I pray God will help me to do my part,
He’ll do the same for you!
