The sun sets lazily in the west,
Splashes of rose, amber, and blue;
Signaling to all, it’s time to rest,
Because another day is through!
As darkness overtakes the landscape,
Silhouettes are all one can see.
Loneliness’ takes over the land,
At least, it seems to be.
But, in the sunrise of the morning,
As we rise from our night’s rest;
We gaze upon God’s handiwork;
And we are truly blessed!
The darkness has disappeared,
The landscape is beautiful again.
There‘s hope in the heart, joy in the step!
It’s a refreshing time for man!
