TRUST JESUS TODAY
A "friend" of mine this morning was criticizing me for "wasting" my time in the morning with God and on "stupid poems," (none of which she is interested in reading, although she professes to be a Christian. I am certain no time spent with God is wasted and that that kind of attitude prevails too much in our society- Woe be to us! We can't minister where we aren't wanted.
No Time is Wasted 9/14/08
Woe be to those who don't understand
The breadth and dimension of Your holy plan,
Though none of us really in human form can,
We must strive in part, down to every man.
No time is wasted that is spent with You,
Christ's personality, trying to imbue,
But unfortunately there are very few,
Who, this, in their lives are attempting to do.
Your Truth and Your message need to be heard,
As well as Your principles, laws, and Word.
To Your own heart people need to be lured,
To make You their own First, Second, and Third.
This is such an overwhelming task,
But to each of us these things You ask.
You plead with us to take off our mask,
So in Your loving presence we can bask.
There is no need for pretense or lies,
We need not be profound or wise,
We only need to realize
That Your love for us, all conception defies.
