It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:
1) Post your first piece.
2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.
3) For each critique you give, you earn 1 credit that can be used to post another one of your writings.
4) You can build up credits to be used at another time by giving critiques to others.

The need to look up above the things of the world that crowd God out to try to see through God's own eye that which He calls holy.
Look Above the Clouds 6/21/08
I won't let the world squeeze You out,
I will stay with You, strong and stout.
The crowding of material things,
Sorrow and loneliness will bring.
For You are my All and the Way,
All my tomorrows and today.
I need not these other distractions,
But need to guard all my reactions.
When I come to visit with You,
I want Your essence to imbue,
Let all other things ride on past,
Into Your presence to be at last.
Tune them on out and tune You in,
For You to forgive my own sin.
I need Your cleansing and Your love,
Which only comes from You above.
Here below the things that matter,
Are that purses all get fatter.
So I lift my eyes up to You,
For a grander, heavenly view,
To look above the clouds in the sky,
And try to see through God's own eye,
That which He sees to be holy,
And gaze upon those things only.
