TRUST JESUS TODAY
I wrote this as we were leaving the mountains of Colorado, to the airport, heading back to the midwest. A praise song came on the radio and inspired this poem... I don't remember the song though...
Proclaiming the Love Of Jesus
The music in my heart cries out,
The harmonies sing a loud.
Melodies freely move my spirit,
Higher than the lofty cloud.
My soul sings when Iím in prayer,
I praise, bless your Name.
Even when my lips arenít moving,
My heart cries out Your fame.
Music draws me to Your Presence.
Praise lifts my weary soul.
I can't keep from proclaiming,
Resounding as a bell does toll.
From the top of this mountain,
I cry to valleys below.
I proclaim the love of Jesus,
He loves me this I know!
A psalm. For giving thanks.
1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his [a] ;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
