Since Jesus's birth, there has been no greater love.
Jesus Christ's Love 4/14/08
You never leave me high and dry,
But fill my cup to the brim,
And I know the reason why,
It is all because of Him.
Jesus, Who was born that day,
In a smelly stable small,
In that place so far away,
Is the One Who saves today.
He saved me from my sin and fear,
Called sweetly for me to Him come,
Brought me to my knees in tears,
Had me give my life to the Son.
The journey's not been always sweet,
Because the closer God gets me,
The more Satan wants defeat,
But through his lies I see.
God is my own warrior,
Who fights the evil for me.
Jesus Christ is my Savior,
Who left me with just one plea.
Thy will, not mine, be done, my God,
Moment by moment I stand,
To make His will one I applaud
Is what I know He demands.
Because I know His will is good,
And man's heart is full of evil,
I would do all that I could,
To flee and run from the Devil.
To my God, I run and hold fast,
For He is my safety net,
Because He will take me past
Any troubles I have met.
Oh Lord, I sing Your praises!
I kneel at Your Holy feet!
Your name to my heart raises
Hope and joy and Redemption sweet.
There is no other name on earth,
Or in the heavens above,
From Jesus Christ's day of birth,
That has the meaning of love.
