What does life mean to you, without the presence of dreams? We all have dreams, sometimes, we dream, then we watch them drift away, at other times, we grab them and hold onto them!

This article is all about recognizing opportunities.
Given half a chance, I'd stop to smell the roses.
Lean on my guitar, this natural composer
Would call up a tune from somewhere out of the blue,
Magnificent fingers forming a classical tune.

Here are dreams just passing by,
Lighting every shadow.
Hold them or they'll slip away.

If I stretched my mind,
I might become a poet!
Maybe I could try to write a verse or sonnet.
I'd re-invent Shakespeare, the Bard at his word,
Magnificent stanza that nobody has heard.

Here are dreams just passing by,
Lighting every shadow,
Hold them or they'll slip away.

Then it crossed my mind,
I could become an artist!
Turps, a brush, a rag,
Perhaps I'll paint a portrait.
Magnificent colours I'd steal from the sky,
Efficiently blended with tears from my eyes.

Here are dreams just passing by,
Lighting every shadow,
Hold them, or they'll slip away.

By a running brook,
I'm watching how the water
Dances over rocks, I could become an author!
Magnificent, mellow, a marvellous muse,
A fraction of fiction, a teaspoon of truth.

Here are dreams just passing by,
Lighting every shadow,
Hold them, for they're here to stay.
