HELP TOUR

It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:

1) Post your first piece.

2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.

3) For each critique you give, you earn 1 credit that can be used to post another one of your writings.

4) You can build up credits to be used at another time by giving critiques to others.

Some of these lines just don't seem right. Any suggestions to make them flow?
As the day grows dark,
The thoughts of weary travelers
Turn to home
Silent, they prepare to sleep
And wonder, a little, why they must roam.
Some inwardly weep,
Others outwardly sigh,
Some break down:
they cry.

They don’t know where
They’re going,
Or when their trip will end,
They only have their past and present
Moments, no idea what the
Future will send.

“O God,” they cry,
“Even birds have nests,
Why have we no place to rest?
Yet bind our weary feet,
That we may wander on,
Soothe our aching hearts.

“Still we continue on,
Our backs are bent and sore.
And as we travel on,
Dear Lord, we ask for more.
Not more miles, please,
Don’t add them to our trip,
Only for the courage
To take another step.

“We do not ask for mercy, God,
For ease we do not plead,
Just give us strength to continue,
And show us the way,
Lord, lead.”
