TRUST JESUS TODAY
All we have is on loan to us from God, even our family and friends, yet we have such a hard time remembering this and hanging on loosely and letting go when the time comes for them to be set free.
We Are All on Loan 3/24/08
When death does overtake us,
And we are not shown the morn,
The friends we left below us
Have been left only so torn.
We have found our Savior.
Death's door has led to Light.
The ones left back on earth
Can only see their plight.
If we could only beckon
And show them there's no fear,
And they could know God's best for us,
And dry away their tears.
But how man's heart does darken,
At the losing of a friend,
Not knowing that just for a time,
To us, our friends God just lends.
