An End to Hopelessness
Born of earthy sinful father
Human seed the source of sin,
Deep desires and things I’d rather
Coming from my heart within.
Fightings, wars and lustful cravings
These direct my path of life,
All result in my behaving
Filling all I do with strife.
What care I of others comments
Those I know act just the same,
No one here dare act in judgment
For we all play the same game,
Moral men are just good showmen
For their sin is hdden deep
Deep wuthin they hide their deadmen
Do their works while others sleep,
What’s this I hear? My sin pays wages
The reward of sin is death,
Oh no! I cry and fear now rages
Judgment follows my last breath.
Change my ways, how could I ever
I do not control the game.
Never mind what my endeavor
I will always be the same,
But there’s hope! The King of Heaven
My sin in His body bore,
Every little bit of leaven
From my evil heart he tore,
By His death on cruel Calvary
Every Curse of mine made His
Then He rose in glorious victory
The life that I now live is His.
Calm now all my doubts and fears
Cease now all my toil and strife.
For the Christ of Endless years
Gives to me Eternal life.
