This was the other song I wrote for the Diamond Man album, which may or may not be fused into something else. My favorite t-shirt makes a special guest appearance here. Lol, I bought it at a Christian book store in Missouri. I wanted to buy the other shirt too, but well... I ended-up just having to write a song about it instead.
Social Hazard

Matthew 7:24 said it best.
Thatís why I wear a tee with the scripture on my chest.
There was a time when I wouldíve been to shy to display
My open love for the God that I profess today.

Another shirt that I saw I couldnít find in my size.
But the message has forever been burned in my eyes.
A social hazard. And itís true that I always was.
But now Iím hazardous to the Hazard, in Christís love!

You wouldnít understand it till you seen with your eyes.
The tangled fingers of the Prince of Power, whom I despise
Slithering their way up into the ears
Of every misguided soul Heís been fooliní for years.

They grow like vines, but cut like bamboo
Separating your brain from who is really you.
Or from who the Lord has always wanted you to beÖ
Look into His eyes, donít just take it from me.

Do you see that? Brother, youíre ready now!
Do you feel that? Címon, make a fist! Give a pound!
ĎCuz I see that! Christís love is shining down!
And I feel thatÖ

And thatís how I know that Iím a Diamond Man
Cuz Christ is the solid ROCK ON which I stand. Címon!
Iím representiní this contraband
Cuz Christ is the solid ROCK ON which I stand!

In one ear and right out the next
Thorns filling your brain with whatís insane and complex.
When the idea really isnít that overdone
Heís stringiní Godís childrenís heads together one by one.

So what does it do when one of us wakes up
And looks into the eyes of Christ shining above?
Then unplug the vine and rip your section to shreds
Exposing all the lies to everybody sharing your thread?

It filled my heart with dread to question at first.
Separation from the world or God, which is worse?
But the world hasnít always been so good to me.
And though I shut Him out, Jesus came back you see?

Itís a promise that He made that says He wonít give up.
Everyday that youíre aliveís an invitation to love.
But some of us wonít bow down to His command.
Here I am! Social Hazard! Iím takiní my stand!

And I know that Iím a Diamond Man
Cuz Christ is the solid ROCK ON which I stand. Címon!
Iím a social hazard in this land
Cuz Christ is the solid ROCK ON which I stand!

ĎCuz I love Him! And Iím never gonnaí let Him go!
Heís my Daddy! And I told the Prince of Power so!
And I LOVE Him! And Iím NEVER gonnaí let Him go!
And my DaddyÖ can whip your daddy, PUNK! Let him KNOW!
