HELP TOUR

It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:

1) Post your first piece.

2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.

3) For each critique you give, you earn 1 credit that can be used to post another one of your writings.

4) You can build up credits to be used at another time by giving critiques to others.

TITLE: InfraRed

So it's no secret that the Goliath Assassin is a fire-based elementalist... but did you know that he also has a second set of eyelids that lets him see the world through infrared? (chuckles) Well, what I wanted to express here is a duality I feel within me between anger and love. They both are fueled by either a negative or positive spin on PASSION, which is something I have in epic proportions.

Thought you'd like to read something a bit more mellow by GA? Here it is! A lonely, tender write... with a napalm chaser, of course. (winks)
Keepiní up with the factíry bustle and the
Side hustle is runniní me ragged.
I barely have a moment to unwind.
A woundís bleeding in my soul and a good
Meal would make me whole.
But I push it all aside. I ainít got the time.

My life is filled with deadlines.
I canít resent them Ďcause theyíre all mine.
I canít stop until I reach the next plateau.
My mindís feeding on my own frustration
About my education on the state of our nation.
But all I really want is to take it slow.

And all I see is RedÖ And all I see is RedÖ
And all I see is RedÖ And all I see is RedÖ

My heartís been broken and the keys all stolen
But I always keep a spare right here.
Ďnd my heart still burns like a Solar Flare.
You canít keep a strong man down.
Itís just something I have found.
And Iíve looked for signs of scars, but theyíre not there.

I agree with God, I wonít be right
'Til Iím spending all my nights
As a human heater for the warmth-impaired.
Sure, itís a seasonal job
Push me away if you get hot.
Iíll wake to see you glow like the sun runniní through your hair.

And all I see is RedÖ And all I see is RedÖ
And all I see is RedÖ And all I see is RedÖ

My passion, it defines me
Whatever the occasion be.
Just know that I am giving it my all.
Iíll fight Ďtill Iím on the floor.
Love like Iíve never been hurt before.
I just need someone to catch me should I fall.

I donít like to ask for help.
I canít do this all myself
But Iím just that brave and dumb to want to try.
Iíve got my bow in hand and
A straight shot, just understand
How helpful we could be at each otherís side.

And all I see is RedÖ And all I see is RedÖ
And all I see is RedÖ And all I see is RedÖ

Itís like infra-Red... Itís like infra-RedÖ
Itís like infra-Red... Itís like infra-RED!
ITíS LIKE INFRA-RED! ITíS LIKE INFRA-RED!
ITíS LIKE INFRA-RED! ITíS LIKE INFRA-REEEEED!
