HELP TOUR

It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:

1) Post your first piece.

2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.

3) For each critique you give, you earn 1 credit that can be used to post another one of your writings.

4) You can build up credits to be used at another time by giving critiques to others.

This poem is about answering the call of Jesus and letting Him walk you to "the other side." It was written as an offering of comfort and assurance to a friend of mine who is dying of cancer and dedicated to him.

Only He 2/13/08

Only He
Can lift the weight
Call you in
Open the gate

He wants your all
No less, no more
Give it to Him
Then close the door

Once, when safely
Within His fold
You will never need
Silver or gold

For He will provide
For your every need
With you humbly walk
Gently lead

Follow Him onward
Let Him be your Guide
And He will bring you
To the other side

Where the Father awaits you
With open arms
And never again
Will you meet with harm
