It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:
1) Post your first piece.
2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.
3) For each critique you give, you earn 1 credit that can be used to post another one of your writings.
4) You can build up credits to be used at another time by giving critiques to others.

Hello, all first-time readers! My name's David and I am the "Goliath Assassin." I've been a metal head and a writer all my life, but only when I started writing for the Lord was my "GA" persona born. Some of my greatest influences in Christian metal are bands like P.O.D., Disciple, Killswitch Engage, and Demon Hunter. Most of my songs have sections that appear all in CAPS. That's your clue that I'm screamin' at the top of my LUNGS! My writing has a softer side too, but those gentle writes are a rare find in my collection. So as you're reading this (and any other) song I wrote, please judge me as a serious contender for the Christian metal mainstream. I don't have a CD yet, but one day I will. And I'll never "ball with the big boys" unless I am rated and tested as such. Peace and thanks! ~GA

There’s a crusade going on in intellectual times!
The Media War is being lost this hour
By disheartened Christians who can only cower
In fear of the darkening status quo.
The kingdom of the Lord never darkens, though!
This may not be the same world it used to be
But in God, we have the same opportunity!
Spare them all my Lord! These are all good men!
They’ve only been confused and taught to pretend
That “Do unto others…” should actually read
“I don’t need your help! Don’t do nothin’ for me!”
But the Lord commands us to go out and teach
By example, and not just constantly preach
About all the love that we feel inside!

There’s some evil things amiss in this world!

To pave the way for the meek at heart.
And for those who just don’t know where to start
Take a hint from the man with the Six Foot Sword!
And come ready and willing to serve the Lord!
I can’t guarantee this battle won’t be rough!
But it’s easier than spiritual chains and cuffs!
Like the way Satan removed the prayer from schools.
(And they thought it was their own idea, the fools!)
This country was built on the Lord above.
But it’s no longer the Lord that we’re thinking of!
And then we wonder why the money’s value disappears!
Is it “In God we trust?” Or “Sorry, God’s not here!”
