HELP TOUR

It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:

1) Post your first piece.

2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.

3) For each critique you give, you earn 1 credit that can be used to post another one of your writings.

4) You can build up credits to be used at another time by giving critiques to others.

TITLE: Reminding Me

I was just playing around with a recent poem I wrote to see if it could be converted into a song. This is just a rather rushed through first stab at it, let me know what you think.
Youíre reminding me why Iím here today.
Reminding me Iím here for Your plan, not mine.
Showing me I let the world get in Your way.
Showing me, somehow, I lost track of Your time.

So strip me down and take what I have away.
Put me in a place where all I can do is pray.
Take everything until all I have left is You.
Help me to stand still so You can freely move.

Youíre reminding me Iím living borrowed days.
Reminding me Iím unworthy to be loved this way.
Break me, crush me, and rebuild me new.
All I want is to be closer to You.

So strip me down and take what I have away.
Put me in a place where all I can do is pray.
Take everything until all I have left is You.
Help me to stand still so You can freely move.

Hand me my cross, the weight is mine to bear.
Overwhelm me with the mercy and love which
You so willingly share.

Strip me down and take what I have away.
Put me in a place where all I can do is pray.
Take everything until all I have left is You.
Help me to stand still so You can freely move.

So strip me down and take what I have away.
Put me in a place where all I can do is pray.
Take everything until all I have left is You.
Help me to stand still so You can freely move.

Youíre reminding me for everything You have a time.
Reminding me to keep the world from getting in Your way.
Iím here for Your plans Lord, not mine.
Youíre reminding me thatís why Iím here today.

Lord, continue to remind me everyday.
