TRUST JESUS TODAY
I fell so far
just like a shooting star.
Thrown out of the universe
tumbling down and waiting to burn
as I raced toward the earth.
I thought that was my storyís end
and if not for you, it surely would have been.
But you chose to meet me here.
You were waiting in the atmosphere.
You reached out and saved me as I was speeding down.
Yes, You caught me before I hit the ground.
You saved me from a deadly crash landing
and only because of You, Iím now standing.
Now Youíve hung me back in the sky.
Youíve secured me to You with a safety line.
I donít deserve a gift like this,
yet still, Youíve given me the chance to truly live.
Youíve blessed me with the gift of endless time
so now for You, I will always shine.
