I feel this is a very important issue.
Part l: “When in Rome Act as a Roman” (ALL Immigrants Must ALWAYS Adapt.)
Prepared by Gene Hudgens.

Today I read an article that just makes me feel good and proud for the author. The author is John Howard, Prime Minister of Australia. I feel good because what he wrote is exactly what I feel and believe. I’m proud because he has the guts to tell everyone exactly how he feels.

I’m including his entire article as part of this article, but first I wish to share with everyone some of my views.

I am a Christian. That is my choice. God knows that in my heart I do not criticize anyone for believing differently than I do and loving and following another religion other than Christianity, as long as they do not attempt to force their religion on me. When I was in Vietnam and Thailand I admired those that follow the teaching of Gautama Buddha.

As a teen the brother of the girl I dated told me I would go to hell because I did not belong to the church he and my girlfriend attended. I chose to end my relationship with the girl, but I never criticized her belief. As a child my grandfather (a Methodist minister) taught me to never have ill feelings towards the Catholics because they, like us, have the same God and the same goal, but we each use a different ladder.

Unlike most of the people I know personally, I have read the Koran and I am pleasantly satisfied that most Muslims are good and that their belief in Islam is to them as good as my belief in Jesus is to me. They believe in one God. They believe that Muhammad, the founder of Islam, is the last and greatest of the messengers of God, but he is not divine in any way. I understand that they believe humans are the greatest of all creatures, created with free will for the purpose of obeying and serving God. I understand that for a Muslim, the object of life is to live in a way that is pleasing to God, so that one may gain Paradise. They believe there is a judgment day for afterlife in Paradise or Hell. Muslims consider their religion to be the one true religion and invite people of all races, nationalities and religions to be part of it. The Qur’an is clear that there must be “no compulsion in religion” (2:256).

Assuming that this is true then I wish to believe that Islam is not an extreme radical religion. I feel that it is the Islam religious leadership that is radical. To me it’s too bad that their religious leaders have a reputation of converting by the sword.

It’s this bad reputation that makes me sick. It’s the sick actions of these religious radicals that make me mad. Their objectives are not religious. They want to use any and every tool to achieve their dream of Islamic domination of the world. Everyone, including every American must fear radicals such as Jamal al-Din al-Afghani, Abul Ala Maududi, Sayyid Qutb, Ayatollah Khomeini…and all other radical ayatollahs and anointed sheiks.

Please slowly and carefully read the following article. Many countries in the world, including America, have a large number of Muslims that immigrate to their shores for good personal reasons or other radical reasons.

From a child I was taught that “when in Rome act like a Roman”. I agree 101% with Prime Minister John Howard. It is always the immigrants that must adapt…ALWAYS! “Wake up America!”

Once again I am not satisfied with the American media. The media has a responsibility to educate…both the American people and the Muslims that want to live in America.

I invite you to read Part 2 of this article.

This article is extracted in part from a variety of articles found on the web. Below are words of wisdom from the Prime Minister of Australia.

America and every other nations need a leader like this. Mr. Howard does not ridicule any one and certainly not another religion, but he clearly expresses his views and allows everyone to clearly see that everyone has a right to make a personal choice, including every Australian. “Wake up America…before it’s too late!”

[Prime Minister John Howard - Australia]
Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques.

Quote:
'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians, as we have never seen before.'

'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.'

'We speak mainly ENGLISH … not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, then you have no choice but to learn “our” language!'

'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'

'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'
'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are finished complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life.

I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom ….

'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE.'
'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'

Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, American citizens will find the backbone to start speaking and voicing the same truths.

If you agree … please SEND THIS FORWARD … to EVERYONE you know!!
