I think this poem doesn't need much of an explanation. If you live in America and are paying attention to what's happening around you, I think you'll understand.
my Letter To America

Dear America,

What happened to everything that we believe?
How could we let satan take over, deceive?
We took the "under God" out of the U.S.A!
Well, just look around and see how it is today.

So, there are great men who are fighting for their country,
for you and me; trying desperately to keep us free;
and there are people who just sit back, and just don't care
about the women, and children who live in despair.

The ones who are hoping that their someone will someday, somehow come home from war,
Hoping thier loved one, if not dead,if not wounded, will be standing at the door.
Homosexuality,harlots,murders,rapes,suicide,one big sin pit.
Oh, doesn't anyone of this land feel the least of guilt just a little bit?

Abraham Lincoln,Betsy Ross,The wright brothers,
good and wonderful people and many others.
Isn't there anyone like this anymore,
Or those people have we learned to ignore?

"I pledge allegiance to the flag"
but there just is nothing to brag
"Of the United States Of America"
Full of nothing but beer and marijuana
"and to the republic for which it stands"
I wish we would just do what God commands.
"Indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
Don't you understand? Without God America will fall!

"One Nation under God" is the only part missing.
Open your ears, can you hear him? Are you listening?
Just like it always has been, God is the only way,
I ask of you one thing and one thing only, just pray.

That's all you can do as a true American,
is pray and stand up for what you believe in.
Be what an American used to be,
be one of the brave and one of the free.

Be a true American, keep God here.
Try to avoid all the sin, keep Him near.
You are wondering what exactly to pray for?
As long as you pray for this and nothing more.

Pray for the troops and your President,
that they get the message that God sent.
Pray for the people that are shelterless and alone,
pray that somehow they will be able to find a home.
And pray for those whose pain is hard to bear,
for anyone,anytime,anywhere.
Pray that only God's precious word we longingly will thirst,
because, believe it or not, Christians, this is not the worst.

No one can take your right to pray,
kneel down by your bed, pray today.

Most sincerely yours,

someone praying.
