This is a song I'm working on. It's the first verse and chorus. I'm not sure how this reads to someone who doesn't know the tune. Any feedback would be great! Thanks.
You walked that dusty road to Calvary
and died for me
You died for me
You were despised
and spit upon by men
for my sin
For my sin.
And what can I give for this amazing sacrifice?
I give my life
My whole life!
So here I am Lord
I offer up my life to You
An offering I pray will be a blessing for You
I will glorify Your name in every breath I take
In every step I make I promise to
Do it for You
Because You first loved me
And died for me, at Calvary
