HELP TOUR

It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:

1) Post your first piece.

2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.

3) For each critique you give, you earn 1 credit that can be used to post another one of your writings.

4) You can build up credits to be used at another time by giving critiques to others.

TITLE: Save you a seat

I wrote this for my brother who hasn't found
the lord and he doesn't live right.
I'm putting it on here to encourage others
to save someone a seat today.

Love you all and God bless.

PS believe it or not, it was longer.
save you a seat

I wonder every day
if the next you'll be around.
When I bow my head to pray,
tears for you will fall right down.

I pray for you to realize,
for you to finally believe,
the scales to drop from your eyes,
for your soul to find relief.

I pray for your heart to be soft,
and for God to send you one more sign.
I pray for you to find the cross,
and to talk to you just one more time.

I only want you to understand,
I don't mean to criticize.
you see these worldly things in your hand,
you just seem to idolize.

When I would sit down to eat
with all the family,
I'd always save you the seat
that was right next to me.

I used to look up to you;
I used to think you were smart.
you used to know what was true;
you used to have a good heart.

And now I feel you've gone insane.
you think you know my passion;
you think you know everything.
Then,answer me this question.

If I were to close my eyes and die,
spread my wings and just fly away,
Only to the world I said," Good-bye,"
and the Lord brought me home today,

If when I entered eternity,
and I walked that golden street,
if I sat down with my family,
COULD I STILL SAVE YOU A SEAT?

So when I'm bothering you
and you ignore me when I speak.
Know that I'm just trying to
save you a seat.
