Song lyrics. This song is meant to get people on fire to spread the Good News of our Lord. No one knows how much time we have before He comes to take us home. We NEED to do everything in our power to let this world see Jesus shinning from us! Does this song inspire you to witness for Him? Are you motivated to get out there and spread the Word?
Get up!
Now is the time,
So get up!
Children of God ARISE and SHINE!
Lets get His Word out.
This world needs to know WHO were all about.
So come on people of God,
SHOUT it out LOUD!
Stand up and declare His VICTORY!
Its time we take this Word OUT into the streets.
Its time we share the Gospel with EVERYONE we meet!
Prepare His way,
For it WONT be LONG!
Sing to this world a repentance song!
We NEED to spread His message
Throughout ALL lands.
We need to ARISE and SHINE,
For the Kingdom of our God IS AT HAND!

SOON well see Him coming on the heavenly clouds!
Well see His awesome POWER and GLORY!
Well hear that trumpet SOUND!
So GET UP!
NOW is our time!
GET UP children of God,
ARISE and SHINE!

Like a FLASH of lightening
He WILL come.
Keep your eyes to the sky,
For SOON well see the Son!
NOW is the time,
We CANNOT wait.
We NEED to get His Word out
Before its TOO LATE!
We NEED to tell ALL who are willing to hear.
We NEED to ARISE and SHINE
For His time IS drawing NEAR!
Like the buds on the trees tell us
That summers on its way,
So the signs of this world tell us
Its almost the FINAL day!
So listen up to ALL who will HEAR!
Lift up your heads,
For our redemption draws NEAR!

SOON well see Him coming on the heavenly clouds!
Well see His awesome POWER and GLORY!
Well hear that trumpet SOUND!
So GET UP!
NOW is our time!
GET UP children of God,
ARISE and SHINE!

Let HIS WILL be done throughout the lands.
Now its time we do EVERYTHING we can.
The coming of our Lord IS on the way
And now its time we do MORE than just pray!
We NEED to get OUT THERE
And make our WORDS be SEEN!
We NEED to win as many souls as we can
For the King.
Its not HIS will that ANY be left behind.
NOW is the time,
So lets ARISE and let HIS LIGHT SHINE!

SOON well see Him coming on the heavenly clouds!
Well see His awesome POWER and GLORY!
Well hear that trumpet SOUND!
So GET UP!
NOW is our time!
GET UP children of God,
ARISE and SHINE!
