It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:

1) Post your first piece.

2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.

TITLE: Hello, It's Me Again

This was written after having a heart to heart talk with a friend who is battling the bottle.
Hello itís me again Lord,
Iím coming to you in prayer.
Iím so glad I can depend on you,
When I need you, you're always there.

Lord, I know it seems time and again,
I only come to you,
When I need another favor,
Or help from what I'm into.

But today is different Lord,
Where do I begin?
I wanted to share with you,
The joy I feel within.

I walked away from that olí bottle,
As hard as it was to do.
I fought Satan off for as long as I could,
Then remembered to mention you.

Because Satan knows You canít be beat.
And if I know You as my friend,
The devil may try to pull me away,
But my Savior's the one who'll win.

I wanted to take the time right now,
To say thank's for all youíve done.
Your power and Your love Lord,
Can be compared to none.

Youíre the reason no doubt,
That Iíve made it this far.
And when I walked away from that bottle,
It proved how powerful you are.

I tried it and it worked Lord,
I relied on you instead.
I sought the help I needed,
And finally got it through my head.

That with God as my Father,
I can do anything at all.
But You never promised me anywhere,
There wouldnít be times Iíd fall.

You tell me that youíll never leave me.
And all I have to do,
Is to call Your name dear Lord,
When I need to talk to You.

So I know you wonít be surprised,
Each morning when I say,
ďHello Lord, itís me again,
Please help me through todayĒ.

I need you to give me strength dear Lord,
If I'm to keep my life straight.
I want to be able Father,
When Iím standing at Heavenís gate.

To say, ďHello Lord, itís me again.
I hope youíre proud of meĒ.
ďThank you Lord for making me,
So much more than I thought I could be.Ē

Maybe Iíll hear You say Lord,
ďHello My Child, itís me againĒ.
ďWeíve fought an uphill battle but won,
Welcome home son, come on in.
