One day as I was praying I had a sense in my spirit that I was not alone and for a moment my eyes were open to the spiritual battle that takes place in the heavenlies when God's people bow their knees in prayer. WE are not alone.
The drums beat, the trumpets blare,
the brilliant banners blow in the breeze
The hosts of heaven all marching in tune
when praying saints fall on their knees.

The swords sparkle, reflecting the light
God's invisible army poised ready to fight
Awaiting the word from His heavenly throne
to insure God's saints they're never alone.

Dispatched angels bringing holy protection
With the awesome beauty of God's reflection
No knees could stand, nor eyes could behold
a glance at that majestic army of gold.

The line is drawn, God's infantry ready
for prayers from the saints, persistant and
steady.
The battle, first won in the spiritual realm,
showing Satan God's army is steering the helm.

No menacing darkness of evil and gloom
stands very long without meeting its doom
The lightning beams bursting forth from their
blades
Triumphant, victorious, that awesome brigade.

The drums beat, the trumplets blare, the
brilliant banners blow in the breeze..
The hosts of heaven all marching in tune
when praying saints fall on their knees.
