TRUST JESUS TODAY
As the clouds billow by and the rain pours down
Quenching a thirsty land
They do so with the peace that is found
In obeying their master’s command
When the sun pours forth streams of light
It does well to obey its master
And when the moon travels o’er the sky at night
His voice is what it chases after
When the waves of the seas roll in and out
Their peaceful presence is found
In the power of obedience that removes all doubt
Of who sent them to crash on the ground
When the lightening reports to its Abba Lord
It finds perfect orders waiting
And with confidence in the perfect word
Bolts earthward without hesitating
Even the beasts, the birds, the bugs
Find peace in their lives so fleeting
For they know they serve the one who loves
The one who spoke them into being
So give me, Lord, the knowledge of Your might
A life abiding in Your ways
That I might walk on the path of Your light
And find peace for all of my days
