1) Post your first piece.

2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.

I believe the Lord speaks the loudest through our hearts. I think one of the first steps is opening your heart and allowing the Holy Spirit to fill you up.
Just listen in the stillness and quiet,
When youíre all alone with me.
Open up the eyes of your heart,
And I think youíll begin to see.

Youíll finally start to realize,
What my love and blessings are about,
Youíll wonder how on Earth,
Youíve gone so long, going without.

But for now I just want you to listen,
See if you can hear,
What Iím saying to your heart,
Iíll try to make it clear.

When you feel me in your heart,
All the noise will begin to fade.
Youíll know without a doubt,
Just what a price I paid.

I did it out of Love,
I did it for Godís Glory.
And you can do the same my child,
By believing in my story.

The more you let me in your heart,
The more blessings I can bestow.
The more you fill yourself with me,
The more I can let you know.

I want to fill you with the Holy Spirit,
Fill you with such desire,
I want you to feel like you canít get enough,
I want you to feel that fire.

And that desire to get closer to me,
That desire to give me all your cares,
That desire to trust in me,
With all your troubles and prayers,

That my child, believe it or not,
Is just what I ask of you.
Giving it all to me,
Is exactly what I want you to do.

If youíll just listen you can hear me,
Though itís not just words I say,
Itís how I touch your heart,
That speaks the loudest, so I pray.

Just listen to your heart,
Thatís where youíll hear me most,
And Iíll also speak in many forms,
Of Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

But no matter where you are,
No matter where youíve been
Ill take you just as you are,
Iíve already paid for those sins.

So all I ask right now,
Is for you to listen for my voice,
Youíll hear it every time youíre faced,
With a problem or a choice.

Iím that tug at your heart,
That little voice that says ďDonít do itĒ,
Iím that push that says,
ďEnough is enough, itís time you just get to it!Ē

Iím the voice that says ďIím proud of you,
Just look how far youíve comeĒ.
Iím the voice that tells you ďJust keep trying,
Because my child, Iím not doneĒ.

I have plans for you my friend,
Gifts and talents that Iíve given to you,
And to use them for Godís Glory,
Now, my child, thatís up to you.

And those times, there may be a few,
When you might face a bit of doubt,
Talk to me, and then just listen,
Because you know together,
We'll always figure it out.
