This is what I like to call a punch poem because it is right off the top of my head directly from what i'm feeling in my spirit concerning anything across this world
And my head turned to see
this overflowing passion of love
founded and pushed by a Son
it shook my heart
it shook my life
i could only lift my soul
i could only unfold
is this a mystery or misery
is this a promise or a problem
word still remains
and i open my eyes to see
this thirst fulfilling eclectic desires
provoking it to one man
many ways to live, many ways to die
many ways to give, many ways to cry
but one gift giver gave life when i cried
to only drown me in a wave of assurance
in a wave of grace in a wave of mercy
but all things must come to an end
even me
even you
even us
word still remains
drowned without repentance
drowned with abundant chance
it must needs to be
come to pass
purpose for our eyes to see
that this earth we know this land we see
this government we trust
turn your heads
open your eyes
look and see
the wave of judgment
that comes to clean
all things shall pass away
but
word still remains
live it
