This is a devotional. I really wrote it to post in another magizine that only prints devotionals. this will be the first time I have done business with them and want this to be perfect.
Many years ago there was a sneak attack known as, ďA day that will Live in Infamy.Ē

JUDE 1:4 For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. (NASB)

Just like the attack at Pearl Harbor where the Japanese came in unnoticed there are often people who attack from unexpected directions. There is a child in our lives now, who would worship Halloween by drawing a tombstone to decorate our front steps not realizing there is anything wrong with a holiday often talked about at her school Iím sure. She thought we needed some decoration we see Halloween for what it is Satanís holy day and wanted nothing to do with its celebration. In both cases they crept in unnoticed.

In the case of Pearl Harbor thousands died. In the case of the child only her soul is at stake. Most of the world sees nothing wrong with Jack-o-Lanterns not knowing they were an ancient symbol of a damned soul. She is a child that finds church boring and the few times we could drag her there paid no attention to the message. She has no interest in God but a lot in the costumes and candy of Halloween. In this country it is something that has crept in unnoticed. Ungodly persons have pushed this on the youth of this country in the name of harmless fun but is it? Or is a door opening in the very young to lure them away from the Lord.

1TH 5:21-22 But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; 22 abstain from every form of evil. (NASB)

We must not deny out Lord in the name of harmless fun. There is nothing harmless about a day regarded as a high Sabbath by certain parts of society. We need to examine it carefully we do not need to deny our master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
