I want to know how plain my message is and is there something that I should have told more about.
Putting On The Full Armor Of God
By Anne H. Harrell

Ephes. 6:10-13 (KJV)
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

With sin in this world running rambit these days, we should never leave home with out putting the full armor of God on. In the morning when we wake up we need to ask God to protect us from all evil. Our hearts should be sensitive to knowing right from wrong. By praying and asking the Lord when we first open our eyes in the morning to guard our ways plus help us to bridle our tongue that we will not have an evil deed in our thoughts.

By putting on the whole armour of God we shall not fall from what is pleasing to the Lord. Our full armor includes girding our loins with the truth of God. We not only know the truth but tell the truth about any and everything. We know that Christ is the only way to Heaven and should never deter from its truth knowing that we love Christ because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19. Know what you know is true. People will say things that aren’t true which is of satan.

Not forgetting to put on our breastplate of righteousness, protecting our heart from unrighteousness. We should guard our hearts from sin. For we are born with sin and it is our nature to sin. When we follow Christ, He is our example of righteousness. If we do sin, we know that we do have grace with God. We know that we are saved by grace.

Let our feet be shod with the gospel of peace. The Word of God brings peace and stability to our lives. Knowing that God sent His only begotten Son to die for us and to bring us life with Him in Heaven. We know when we have Christ we find comfort in our lives. With Christ we know that our paths will be smooth and straight.

Yet we shall never leave home with out our shield of faith in God so that what ever evil comes our way we shall stand strong in the Lord. “ For by grace are we saved through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)

We shall not leave home without having our helmet of salvation in the Lord knowing that without Christ we have no salvation. We know that Christ died for us to have everlasting life with Him in Glory. “ and walk in love as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour.” Ephesians 5:2 (KJV)

Last of all we need our sword which is the word of God. “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing sunder of the soul and sprit, and of the joints and morrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) It is our defense weapon that depend us from evil. Now that we are completely dressed to go out into the world of wickedness we are fully protected against all evil.

May our lives as we go out into the world be lights shining brightly unto the Lord. May our family along with the acquaintances and strangers see that the Lord has taken up resident in our lives. May our lives be filled with prayer and thanksgiving unto the Lord always. May we never leave home without the full armor of God on. May the peace of our Lord and Savior go before us always.

Dear Lord we thank You for Your protection of the full armor of God. May we never leave home with out fully dressed in the armor. May we be shining lights unto the world always. Give us the peace of assurance that we will show Your love to who ever crosses our path today. In Jesus Name always, AMEN.
