HELP TOUR

It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:

1) Post your first piece.

2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.

3) For each critique you give, you earn 1 credit that can be used to post another one of your writings.

4) You can build up credits to be used at another time by giving critiques to others.

TITLE: Peace

I wrote this poem in Germany when my tire went flat. There was a pulloff behind a tall bank which concealed me from the traffic. Behind me was a vast horizon of farmland. As I tried to take the lug nuts off, they were stripping. I was very frustrated. I sat down and asked Heavenly Father to help. There were no sounds, only my prayer. I got up and tried again. To my astonishment, they came off like butter. Thankyou Father!
Peace
What is peace?
The inner silence that knows no bounds.
Tranquility of the heart and mind.
The silence of the birds and wind.
The air that is still.
That which only God can give.
Once all frustration is gone,
there can only be peace.
Stillness…
still as the clear blue sky
without even a cloud concealing it’s wonder.
That is when you will feel peace
and true closeness to God.
