TRUST JESUS TODAY
This is just a praise poem that I wrote right now (15.06.2006) while pondering on the beauty of Jesus and all that He has done for me. It might not flow well, but I felt like writing Him a letter to acknowledge His presence in my life.
Lord, my life is a thorough mess
When I do not let you in,
And when I try to live my life alone
Away from your glory
I end up being devastated and drained.
But you pull me out of my pit of destruction.
You let my spirit soar beyond the limitations of my life.
You lift me up with healing
Making my spirit praise you for your providence and grace.
You alone Lord are worthy of all praise
You alone Lord are the wonder of my days.
You alone Lord are the lifter of my soul
And to you I give glory forever.
Yes to you I give glory forever my Jesus.
