One Day
By: Rick Flowers
One day we shall soar
Beyond the darkness of space
As our journey continues
To that wonderful place
One day we shall sing
In praise to the father
As the Angels of heaven
Bring the faithful together
We will sit at the table
With Jesus to dine
Have life everlasting
Peace for all time
One day we’ll no longer
Toil upon this earth
Thanks to God the Father
For his son Jesus birth
One day we shall soar
With the Angels on high
Without pain or sorrow
No more to die
Soon this earthly journey
Shall be over and done
After the battle
And Jesus has won
Lift up your head
And your eyes shall see
All of heavens beauty
Just beyond the sea
It’s there we shall live
In His beautiful place
Because of His love
And His amazing grace
