A poem prayer I wrote for a young lady while attending Barber College.
I met a girl at school whose spirit was oh so true
but she was lost and confused for she had been abused
I pray protection on her until she gets out
for the relationship she is in is truly in doubt
you see she longs to be loved and never alone
for the world has scarred her starting at home
the things that she went through she carried in her years
and now she searches for the same love that caused her tears
now her father is wise and longs to be a part
for Jesus has truly changed his heart
I pray that he leads her to the the place she wants to see
and teaches her love the way it ought to be
but most of all I pray that her life will turn around
and there Chasitys heart will surely be found
