Drawing On The Strength Within
Have you ever wondered what my purpose is? Why am I hear? Or do you know and say to yourself I can never do that. Well the time has come to stop looking from the outside in and look from the inside out. We have let society tell us what is right and anything contrary to that is wrong. We have the ability because God put it in us before we were even born. We were predestined and foreknown before time began. I never thought that I could spread the gospel for Christ because I am a woman, but ever since I was 12 years old this burning has been inside me to share the Love of God. I started attending a church that allowed women to preach and really did not know if I could stand before a congregation and share what God had put on my heart. Once I realized that I was the vessel and God was in charge I knew I could because what I spoke was not me and touched others in a deeper sense than I could ever had imagined. Now don’t think that every time I got up to speak that I was not scared because I was. I just had to remember that I was the clay pot and God was molding me for his benefit. When we try to draw from our own strength we fail every time, but when we rely on the strength of the one who created us we are successful, anointed, powerful, empowered and strong. We have to allow the One who created us to guide us and realize that without him we are nothing. John 15:5 states “I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in Me and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without Me you can do nothing (KJV). “ We can and will “bear fruit” when we let our Master be our guide and that means we are daily delving into His Word that we may have something to pull from when the world says we can’t or we feel that we have been left out to dry. Our Heavenly Father has not left us nor forsaken us. Now here comes the hard part stepping out in faith and saying “… Here am I; send me (Isaiah 6:8b KJV),” because only when we have allowed ourselves to be vulnerable have we truly drawn on the strength within, which is Our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Are you ready to go to the next level? If your answer is “Yes” then let the Lord move you out of your comfort zone and use you for what He created you for. Start living the life of and “heir and joint heir” and stop living the life of a poor man.
