HELP TOUR

It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:

1) Post your first piece.

2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.

3) For each critique you give, you earn 1 credit that can be used to post another one of your writings.

4) You can build up credits to be used at another time by giving critiques to others.

I took this story to fourth graders to have them critique it. I figured, who better else. Being very nervous how they would take the ending, I clapped my hands to gether for the "pounce" which startled them. They then laughed and expressed how much they liked it. Now, I put it before adults with the question. Should I or shouldn't I, pursue this as a picture book for that age group?
I am the cat
clever and sly.
I wait behind a rock
until you pass by.
Poised and positioned
with my ears laid back.
My tail twitches with excitement
for just the right attack.
As you unwittingly move
through the tall grass,
I am ready at a moments glance.
Then..pounce!
I've got you!
My little snack.
