Bluish Gooish Scary Thing
By Gina Martin2006
Nickety pickety snickety mee
I opened my eyes and what did I see
A bluish gooish scary thing
It had one eye and a big red wing
Glooma tooma looma zeek
I looked up at him to get a peek
Doodley hoodley it wasn’t fair
He was so tall I needed a chair
Goony oony joony twee
He bent down to look at me
Abba dabba twittley swing
That one eye was the biggest thing
Pooey mooey looey gee
I wanted this monster to be friends with me
Greevy meevy what did I say?
“Do you see me? Can we go play?”
Nicky picky ticky doo
“Would you go with me to the zoo?”
He didn’t have a mouth so he couldn’t talk
I held his finger as we began to walk
Feemy beemy sweemy tee
Each step he took were ten steps for me
Quigley higley jigley moe
He put me up on his toe
Sweeky leeky tweeky toes
I climbed up to his bluish nose
Pooky tooky nooky twee
That one eye was all that I could see
I talked to him about many things
Burps, bugs, and jingley jings
He sneezed on me foogley zed
A giant glob fell on my head
Mixy pixy hixy yak
It dripped down my tiny back
Ooney gooney sooney nee
He was sad he cried for me
Nicky picky sticky kay
He looked afraid of what I’d say
Looney mooney tooney twee
I told him that I would be
His best friend golly folly gee.
